The Minister of Internal Affairs, Besfort Lamallari, has reacted after the protest held today by the opposition, congratulating the State Police for their management of the situation.

He praised the professionalism and self-restraint of the officers, emphasizing that they managed to immediately neutralize the people who used Molotov cocktails during the protest.

According to him, certain individuals from the protest attempted to escalate the situation and create tensions, endangering public safety and the lives of police officers.

"Congratulations to the State Police for the professional response, self-restraint and immediate neutralization of the Molotov cocktails used as cannon fodder to burn the city, blacken the country and endanger the lives of uniformed officers."

Albania will not be held hostage by a minority that does not hesitate to use minors to burn and hide its failure.

"Between those who build the country's European future and those who seek to burn it, the choice is now clear to all Albanians," Lamallari wrote on social media.
