"It's expected to snow," what the weather is expected to be like

The beginning of December has marked a drop in temperatures, but what are they expected to be like in the last days of this year?

Anira Gjoni from the Institute of Geosciences told Report TV that on Thursday and Friday we will have a two-degree increase in temperatures.

Over the weekend temperatures are expected to be:

In coastal areas 10/16 degrees Celsius;

In low areas 6/14 degrees Celsius;

In mountainous areas 1/9 degrees Celsius;

Gjoni further added that in some parts of the country we will also have light rainfall.

"Today and tomorrow we will have light rainfall in the Shkodër, Kukës and Lezha regions. Locally there will be light rainfall in Dibër, Durrës, Tirana and Vlora. In the rest of the country we will not have any rainfall," Gjoni added.

Regarding next week and the first days of January 2026, John emphasized that we will again have low temperatures, while snowfall is expected in the east and southeast of the country.
