Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, accused of "abuse of office" in the Special Court, requests that the court session against him be recorded and made public.

The request was articulated by his lawyer in the next session of the "Buka sh.a" file. 

"The hearing should be broadcast live. The public should see the process," said lawyer Henrik Ligori.

This move by the defense of the former number two in the government comes after the request made initially by former President Meta and then by the former Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
