The former head of the National Bureau of Investigation, Aida Hajnaj, is appointed head of the Information Technology Department at the State Police. 

Sources indicate that the decision to appoint her was made by the Minister of Interior, Besfort Lamallari.

According to the State Police law, she should have been returned to the same position she had previously held, and her failure to reinstate her by former police chief Ilir Proda forced her to file a lawsuit with the Administrative Court, which led to the cancellation of the competition for departments in the State Police.
