1,140 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants were identified and destroyed.

In implementation of the nationwide operational plan coded "Clean Territory", drawn up by the General Directorate of the State Police, for the intensification of controls, in order to prevent and attack attempts from the initial stage, to cultivate narcotic plants, the services of The police follow detailed controls of the territory, in mountainous terrains and in forested areas.

Controls are concentrated in the forested areas of Nikla and Fushë Kruja territories. As a result of these checks, 1140 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings were found, in cubes and recently thrown on the ground, for the purpose of cultivation. Seedlings were destroyed by burning.

Meanwhile, the investigative structures of the Krujë Police Station and the Durrës Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Krujë Judicial District Court, continue the in-depth investigative actions to identify and capture the authors of these attempts to cultivate narcotic plants.

Increased police services will continue the checks during the next few days, throughout the territory of the Kruje district.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Krujë Judicial District Court, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants".
