The initiative for the creation of a Bektashi state within the territory of Albania, according to the theologian Justinian Topulli, has been designed by Prime Minister Rama and the people around him for two years. Invited to the show "Opinion", the theologian is convinced that the intentions are not what they declare.
Topulli adds that Prime Minister Rama has no right to define who Islam really is.
"It was not unexpected for me that this initiative has been designed by the prime minister and the people close to him for at least 2 years. People who worked with him and a draft was prepared. It is not known who is behind him. I am convinced that the intentions are not what they are declared. There is no need to create a state of a Bektashi Muslim sect to promote tolerance and fight extremism. Bektashism, beyond the reservations we may have, represents only a small grouping among Muslims. Thus, how can they promote tolerance, especially since Baba Mondi says that "we are the true Islam". He does not have this kind of tag.
The prime minister being a secular ruler, not being a Muslim, he is not a prophet of Islam and has no moral or religious right to define who Islam really is and even more so to create a Muslim state or Islamic as he called it in the middle of Albania. There are many elements of his interview. The statement of the Bektashites said that "only the clergy will receive citizenship". This territory of the Bektashi state that will be sovereign will be open for others to enter. Why emphasize to the "New York Times" that there will be bars, clubs, restaurants where you will be served brandy and women will be free? The Bektashi clerics are all messuages. So why is this highlighted? Is there an attempt to create a tendency to create a sovereign zone so that some things that are not allowed in the Albanian state are allowed right there, this is in question" , said Justinian Topulli.
