Deadlock over votes from Greece, DP: We will not allow bags filled by SP

The Appeals and Sanctions Commission is holding a session to review the appeal of the "Socialist Party of Albania" for the annulment of the decision of the State Election Commissioner regarding the manner of administering ballots from abroad, considering it invalid and issued in violation of the law.

During the session, the legal representative of the Democratic Party stated that the decision of the Election Commission to separate the diaspora votes is appropriate, considering the problems it faces.

Marash Logu said that "we will not allow bags filled by SP patronage supporters to be counted."

Marash Logu : The SP is clear that the DP-ASHM will not allow any envelope coming from Greece to be counted until it is proven that it was personally received by the voter. When this is proven, let it be counted, let it be evaluated. We will not allow bags filled with SP patronage supporters to be counted even if it is the only thing we are committed to at this stage during the counting of the diaspora vote.
