The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, reacted through a post on social media, raising accusations against the justice system and a prosecutor's office that, according to him, has followed double standards in handling cases.

Meta claims that the same prosecutor ignored an official report made by the Supreme State Audit Office regarding the CEZ case, quickly closing it, while on the other hand, he took into consideration a report that he considers false against him.

According to Meta, this report is based on evidence that, according to him, was previously considered to have no probative value, while he adds that the person who filed the report has given different versions of the same issue.

He warned that he would make other details public during the trial and announced that he would be present at the first session of the trial on the merits.

The same prosecutor, who ignored the official report made by the Supreme State Audit (the only constitutional institution for auditing the Government) and made a lightning stop to the report for the forgiveness of 479 million euros of Albanian taxpayers that Edi Rama forgave to CEZ, the same prosecutor who never called the KLSH to ask about this official lawsuit, is the same prosecutor who took seriously a false report, instigated by Edi Rama against me, for which the Serious Crimes Prosecutor has decided to consider him an indirect witness and that the "evidence" he gave had no probative value.
Not only that, but this prosecutor, who in 2016 opposed the KLSH all the way to the Supreme Court to close the affair of 479 million euros to the detriment of the public interest, knowingly took seriously the indirect witness against me, who before registering the complaint against Ilir Meta on the orders of Edi Rama in October 2017, had given two completely different testimonies on the DIA case, one before the prosecution and the other before the Parliamentary Investigative Committee on the CEZ case.
But as it turns out from the testimony of Mr. Elvis Mataj, in Vienna, this same false accuser was also the main instigator for Mr. Mataj to give false testimony in favor of Mr. Kastriot Ismailaj.
