Today is the last day of fasting for Muslim believers, while tomorrow the holy month of Ramadan will be celebrated with the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Believers will gather for the great prayer tomorrow at 06:30 in 'Skënderbej' Square as the ceremony will begin with the reading of the Quran and a lecture.

A congratulatory message for all believers has come from the head of the Muslim Community of Albania, Bujar Spahiu. He conveys his heartfelt wishes for peace, health and prosperity in the family and beyond.

"Today we are on the last day of a month of worship, mercy, forgiveness and solidarity. I convey my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of this beautiful holiday. Ramadan was a spiritual journey, of dedication, sacrifice and approaching God. Through fasting, prayers and good deeds, we strengthened our faith and the feeling of solidarity with each other. Eid al-Fitr is a holiday that reminds us of the greatest human values, mercy, love and forgiveness and help to those in need. May this day be a moment of joy and unity for every Albanian family. On behalf of the Muslim Community of Albania, I wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr. May God accept your fasting and prayer, grant you peace and prosperity in your family", said the head of the KMSH Bujar Spahiu.
