Mishel Prela, 40, was arrested in Tirana after a several-minute police chase, after he refused to obey a stop order and crashed into a police vehicle, endangering the lives of the officers.
The incident was recorded on "Ibrahim Rugova" street, while the suspect was caught in the "Wilson" square area, where it turned out that he was driving without a driving license, under the influence of alcohol and narcotics, while cocaine was also found in the vehicle.

During increased patrols over the weekend, with the objective of guaranteeing the safety of citizens and preventing criminal incidents, the services of Police Commissariat No. 2, on "Ibrahim Rugova" Street, observed a citizen performing dangerous maneuvers with the vehicle he was driving, and for this reason they issued a stop sign.
The driver of the vehicle did not obey the repeated orders of the Police officers, but increased the speed of movement, crashed into the Police vehicle, endangering the lives of the Police officers.
The Police Services immediately pursued him, and in cooperation with the services of the "Eagle" Special Force and with specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section, within the framework of the coded operation "Effect", they enabled the capture after a few minutes, at "Wilson" Square, and the arrest of the driver of the vehicle, citizen MP, 40 years old, resident of Tirana, who violently opposed the officers, and during the escort to the Police premises.
Further verifications revealed that he was driving the vehicle under the influence of drugs and alcohol and without a driver's license. During the search, a quantity of suspected cocaine was found and seized as material evidence in the vehicle.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
