RIP

The well-known Korčar architect Vladimir Bregu, designer of the Palace of Congresses, has passed away.

His friends announced the sad news through posts on social networks. In recent years, Bregu spent between Canada and Albania, while unfortunately he passed away today.

In addition to being a professor of Architecture, Bregu was also part of the design team of the Pyramid at the time it was built.

A reaction has also come from the prefect of the Korça District, Nertil Jole, who writes:

"Vladimir Bregu, the well-known Korčar architect, passed away suddenly.

In addition to being a professor of architecture, Vladimir Bregu is the designer of many of the main buildings in Tirana such as the Palace of Congresses, the Pyramid (co-designer) and many others, where tradition is combined with modern elements.

Among his many projects are the City Center at the entrance of Korça and known as the Cube in our city.

Condolences to the family for their loss!
Prof. May Vladimir rest in peace and be remembered!"
