The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra has completed the investigations and sent four people for trial, accused of fraud and forgery, in connection with a false vehicle rental scheme.

According to the Prosecution, citizens AK and OK are accused of the criminal offense of "Fraud", committed in collaboration and more than once, while citizen MP and citizen AK face charges of "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms", also committed more than once.

From the investigations carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 71 of 2024, it resulted that AK and OK had fictitiously opened the website “Autorental Tirana”, where various vehicles for rent were advertised. To contact customers, they used a telephone number registered in the name of a third person. After receiving payments from the people who reserved the vehicles, the vehicles were never sent to the requested destination.

The prosecution explains that MP, an employee of the entity "FK" PF, provided her assistance by registering the mobile phone number in the name of another person, without the latter's knowledge.

Meanwhile, the defendant AK, administrator of the entity "ERGI-2012", also active in the field of money transfers, is suspected of having signed withdrawal forms, presenting himself as the beneficiary of payments sent by various persons for the rental of vehicles.
