He was moving around with a pistol in Lushnja, the 21-year-old is wanted (NAME)

A situation that could have ended badly was averted in Lushnja, where the Police discovered a firearm in a bar full of young people. 21-year-old Marlind Sulo was declared wanted, while his 5 friends Eri Kasapi, Saviol Shehu, Gledion Mullaj, Helio Toli, and Lusian Sulo ended up in handcuffs because they did not tell the truth.

According to police sources, it all started with operational information that a young man was moving around the city armed and was sitting in a bar-cafe in the “Xhevdet Nepravishta” neighborhood. The police intervened immediately, surrounding the area.

During a search of the table where several young people were sitting, officers found a pistol with live ammunition hidden in the pocket of a sweatshirt thrown over a chair.

At the time of the intervention, the police discovered that the person suspected of being the owner of the weapon was no longer there.

Investigations revealed that the sweatshirt and gun belonged to Marlind Sulo, who had left a few minutes earlier for a barbershop and never returned. He is now wanted.

Meanwhile, the 5 young men who were at the table with him were arrested for "failure to report a crime", after, according to the police, they refused to tell who the weapon belonged to, obstructing the action.

The searches also continued at the 21-year-old's apartment, where cartridges were found, strengthening suspicions of illegal possession of weapons.

In total, the Police seized a pistol, combat ammunition, a vehicle and 5 cell phones, which are expected to help in fully unraveling the incident.

Meanwhile, work continues to capture the wanted young man.
