The CEC approves the final result of the elections, DP appeals Kukës

The Central Election Commission has approved the final result of the May 11 elections in the country's 12 districts, paving the way for the appeals phase.

After the CEAZs completed the counting and prepared the summary tables of the results for each district, they were submitted to the CEC for review and approval.

The CEC reviewed each summary table and after finding no legal or technical irregularities, approved the tables for the 12 districts.

Now any electoral subject that has reservations about the result in a district, has the right to complain within 5 days from the day of the announcement of the CEC's decision in KAS for the result of each district where there are claims.

The Democratic Party has stated that it will not recognize the result and has already started the first legal steps to oppose it, and has so far appealed to KAS only the result for the Kukes region.
