Two Albanians were caught by the Italian police while they were trafficking a load of 23 kilograms of pure cocaine. The arrested are a young couple, 38 and 25 years old. The operation was carried out three days ago in the Florence area.

After an information-investigative activity, agents positioned outside the 38-year-old's house, located in "Via Zani", in Greve in Chianti, were able to observe him after he had parked his car.

He made suspicious movements, as after a few minutes he left the apartment with a bag in his hand, which he placed in the passenger compartment of the vehicle, which was parked in front of the house.

At these moments, the agents intervened to carry out the necessary checks, finding that inside the bag there were six blocks in the shape of a rectangle, wrapped in blue plastic and with the writing '357' which is suspected to be the secret code that belongs to the ordering group where the goods would be delivered or belonged. From the analyzes, it turned out that it was a high-quality cocaine narcotics.

At the same time, the 25-year-old woman arrived at the scene and, seeing the officers, accelerated in an attempt to escape control. She was chased and detained a short time later.

Expanding the checks on his home, officers found other blocks of the substance, with the same characteristics as those found in the car, inside a bag hidden in a closet. Inside a safe hidden behind a painting, an amount of money equal to 11450 euros was found, informs the Italian media.

From the weighing, it turned out that it was a cargo of approximately 23 kg, divided into 20 packages. The two arrested were taken to Sollicciano, pending the validity of the precautionary measure.
