Interior Minister Albana Koçiu announced the increase in salaries for State Police employees. Around 720 employees will benefit from this increase.

" We have proposed a new salary increase for state police employees, there are 720 employees who will benefit from a further increase and it is an increase that rewards all those officers who face and are on the front lines of danger with all those who commit dangerous acts."

It concerns 3 structures: RENEA, the national security forces and the operational ones. There is a salary fund that is foreseen for 2026. With the increase that these categories are receiving now, suffice it to say that a simple inspector will receive a salary of 1600 euros, while for a manager in RENEA it will be 2300 euros.

For operational forces, the rank of inspector is 1200 and that of commissioner is 1600 and 1700 euros. It is a salary increase policy, which shows with deeds the support that state police employees give. And on the other hand, it is an increase that enables the retention of the best personnel in these police forces , "said Koçiu.
