A 64-year-old man, who was wanted by Italy, has been arrested in Berat.

For 64-year-old Adriano Patosi, the Venice Court of Appeal has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the production and sale of narcotics and corruption.

The arrest of this citizen was carried out as a result of the coordination of operational actions and the exchange of information with the Italian police.

The 64-year-old is expected to be extradited to Italy.

An Albanian citizen, accused by Italian authorities of corruption and involvement in criminal activities in the field of narcotics, is arrested.

As a result of the coordination of operational actions and the exchange of information with Italian counterparts, through Interpol Tirana specialists, the road traffic services and specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section intentionally prevented the extradition of citizen AP(P.), 64 years old.

He was declared an international wanted person, after the Venice Court of Appeals assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the production/sale of narcotics and corruption.

Cooperation continues between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome to finalize the procedure for the extradition of citizen AP(P.) to Italy.
