The Tirana court has passed the next file for trial against Florjan Gjergji, accused of the scheme of defrauding various businessmen on behalf of politicians and high officials.
Gjergji has been declared an international wanted by the prosecutor's office in Tirana, while several "prison arrest" measures are in force for him.
Two court proceedings are underway against him for fraud schemes. Gjergji is also suspected of being the organizer of the last case where 100 thousand euros were taken from a businessman from Librazhdi on behalf of the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla.
In other cases, Florjan Gjergji has been removed as a high official, to take large sums of money from businessmen.
His name appears in the operation where it was attempted to take 130 thousand euros from the businessman Pëllumb Salillari and another one that happened on May 17, 2023 when the name of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, was mentioned, with the aim of defrauding a businessman in Tirana to receive the sum of 70 thousand euros.
The group of fraudsters to which Gjergji belongs is suspected of using the name of the former head of the Cadastre, Artan Lame, in another case to take money from businessmen.
