Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to journalist Eddy Wax after the publication of an interview with Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha regarding the migrant agreement with Italy.

In a reaction on social media, Rama says that it is 'ridiculous to create a story of Edi versus Eddy'.

He added that there were no complaints about the journalist, but according to him, the reduced citation of the statements was used deceptively.

At the end of his message, the Prime Minister emphasizes that the relationship between Albania and Italy remains unchanged.

I fully understand that it is ridiculous to create an Eddy vs. Eddy story, but there is no place for that here, because first, I did not complain about the other Eddy, and second, now that you have generously published the full transcript, it is abundantly clear that the reduced quote was misleading enough for anyone with a vested ideological interest to use it.

But really, no hard feelings. One Eddy should do whatever he wants, and the other Eddy should endure whatever he has to.
