The General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has reinstated the 12 heads of local structures of economic and financial crime, 30 days after suspending them by removing them from office.

They were suspended from office due to the lack of efficiency of these structures and the failure to meet expectations, in the fight against fiscal evasion, illegalities in the economic field, or the fight against corruption. Months ago, it was officially announced that the suspension would last until the entry into force of the new structure of the state police, but it is not known if the drafted draft has been approved by Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi.

The new structure aims to reorganize the blue uniforms, including the redistribution of police areas and the strengthening of problematic sectors.
