After returning from emigration to Italy and Canada, Daniel Xhavara has been renting a plot of land in the village of Penkovë in the municipality of Selenica for a year.

The 52-year-old has set up a special farm for raising snails. A special venture of its kind where he invested the money of 32 years in emigration.

The farmer tells about the curative values ​​that the snail has, from its meat, which we in Albania do not use, to the part of the juice that the snail produces, which serves to clean the liver, cough, skin, etc.

Daniel tells how the Italians taught him to raise snails on the farm. Everything in this farm is organic, says Danieli, because if there is even a chemical in the area where the snail passes, everything will be harmful.

For this year, which is also the first year, according to him the production is good and he hopes that all the production will go to Italy.
