The Special Court has rejected Judge Irena Gjoka's request to resign from examining the criminal case against former Defense Minister Fatmir Mediu.
The Deputy President of the GJKKO, Erjon Bani, decided not to accept Judge Gjoka's request with the argument that she is not in the conditions of incompatibility.
The decision that did not allow him to leave the case was reported by Judge Gjoka herself at Wednesday's hearing.
Prosecutor Klodian Braho recounted part of the written evidence that he requested to be part of the judicial review, while the hearing was postponed to December 9.
