Erdgys Arraz's request to participate in the girl's burial is rejected

Erdgys Arrazi, the father of three children and his wife who drowned in the waters of the Buna river, asked for permission to participate in the burial ceremony of his daughter, Ergesa, at noon today.

9-year-old Ergesa is the only one who was accidentally found in the water a day ago by a local fisherman who then notified the Shkodra police.

Ergesa's father, Erdgys Arrazi, who is currently under arrest, requested permission from the local police for a few hours, in order to accompany him to the girl's burial ceremony.

The request was made to the police of Shkodra and then it was forwarded to the General Directorate of Prisons and the Prosecutor's Office of Shkodra.

"...but due to the tense situation in the family and the fact that the next day Erdgys Arrazi will appear before the court of Shkodra to familiarize himself with the security measure, the request for a few hours leave in order to participate in the ceremony of the girl's burial, has been rejected...," said a source at the prosecutor's office to journalist Elton Qyno.

Currently, the searches of the local police, army forces and the residents of the area continue in the interior of the Buna river, with the hope of finding the bodies of Alma, the wife of Edgys Arrazi and two other children of the Arrazi couple.
