A murder took place late this evening in Vaun e Dejës in Shkodra.

The incident is reported to have happened around 21:00, in the village of Paçram and the police confirm the finding of a dead body, which was suspected to have been shot with a firearm.

The victim is Frrok Lleshaj, 65 years old, while numerous police forces went to the scene. The victim is known to have previously been convicted of the crime of murder, so the main track of the investigation remains that of a possible blood feud.

In advance, it is reported that the 65-year-old was walking in the streets of the village of Paçram this evening when he was shot with a firearm and the cause is suspected to be revenge. His body was found by a random passerby, who immediately informed the police.

Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been set up, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to clarify the circumstances, legal documentation, as well as to identify and capture the perpetrator(s), the police informs.
