An organized group of Albanians involved in the distribution of "class A" cocaine has been busted by authorities in the United Kingdom, while eight people have received prison sentences from British justice.
According to local media, the criminal network operated in a structured manner in the Milton Keynes area, distributing cocaine continuously for months.
Investigations revealed that the group had created a well-organized system, with separate roles and coordinated supply, carrying out thousands of transactions every month.
The operation began after a long period of surveillance, during which the group's activity and the connections between its members were documented.
The first blow came in July 2023, when six people were arrested and around 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, drug-related paraphernalia and nearly £10,000 in cash were seized.
The operation continued on November 21, 2023, when authorities arrested eight more people connected to the same network. During this phase, 500 grams of cocaine and around 50 thousand pounds were seized.
The case was heard at Southwark Crown Court, where the final verdict was also given for some of those involved.
