"Partizani" file, Balla's testimony comes to light: Malltezi
Taulant Balla

Court hearings have begun for the "Partizani" case, where the defendants are the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi.

Meanwhile, as the trial began, Taulant Balla began his testimony before the black platoons, while he is the accuser in this case.

Balla explained that since 2012 onwards he had expressed his doubts regarding the privatization procedures of the Partizani sports complex.

Question: Can you explain to us the allegations regarding your complaint and how you supported them?

Balla: Since 2012 and onwards, I have expressed my doubts regarding the procedure for the privatization of the Partizani sports complex. According to suspicions, this privatization process was not carried out according to legal procedures, as I suspect that family and state connections were exploited.

Within a short time, the building was recognized and privatized. A sports complex was removed from the development plan and the complaint was accompanied by evidence.

Balla: As a sports fan, I have accompanied the report with dated documents, since in one document it was in the distribution plan and in the other document it was not in the distribution plan. There is another moment that is related to the valuation of the buildings, how is it possible that two such large buildings were valued at such a ridiculous amount of money. The first phase of the procedure was suspicious because it was done in a period of 6 months, at that time it was the first case. The other element has to do with the suspicions of money laundering and concealment of assets, which I have made in my report. At that time we emphasized that the person who had 1/64 of the property had made an agreement before the privatization of the property took place. Then the person who had 100% of the shares of Home Plan sold the shares at a very ridiculous value, but I don't remember because a lot of time has passed.

SPAK: You have raised doubts about the origin of the ownership, after claiming that they were compensated?

Balla: I was introduced to the media by a document stating that the owners were compensated many years ago. It was widely known that the Italian government could not build an airport without having a title deed.

SPAK: Does the company G Kamp remind you of anything?
Balla: No, I don't remember.

Malltezi: Does the G Kamp society remind you of anything?

Balla: No, I don't remember.

Malltezi: What position were you in when you filed the complaint?

Balla: I was the general secretary of the Socialist Party. I was the chairman of the Socialist Party group. I performed my duty like any citizen. I performed my duty in the public interest.

He stated at the entrance to the Special Anti-Corruption Court that he would not withdraw his accusation at any time. Other people who are expected to testify are Paro Laçi, Albert Xhani and Isa Tare. The Special Anti-Corruption Court has accepted SPAK's request to summon 11 witnesses to court.
