The assassination attempt on the Mujeci couple that occurred just a few days ago shocked public opinion. One of the wanted persons, Besnik Kolndreu, in a reaction to News24, stated that neither he nor his family has anything to do with the incident and that he is afraid that he could get involved in bloodshed, without having any guilt.

One of the vehicles involved in the incident was found in his apartment, but the 40-year-old claims that at the time of the assassination he was on his way to Montenegro, where he also works, together with his family.

"My entire family is being destroyed... the future of my children. My work and all the hard work of all these years, plus they want to get me into a blood feud with a family with whom we have never had the slightest problem. Therefore, I beg the state to look at our case with detail and professionalism because here it is not only the state and the prison where they want to put me without any guilt, but also blood, and we do not want to get into a blood feud with anyone without owing us and without owing you," he said in his reaction to News24.

Kolndreu says that neither he nor his family were aware of the incident and that they learned about the assassination from a post on social media.

"As a family, we had no knowledge that people would come to our house. As a family, no member of our family was a member of the group that killed the Mujeci couple."

"My wife and children were on their way to Montenegro because I have been working and living here for 6 years when my wife, watching on TikTok, said to me: oh God, what happened... they killed the Mujeci couple and that's where I learned about the murder. Now I want to tell you something... I am 40 years old.. I worked for 25 years to be able to start a construction company in my 40s.. those who know me know well what a struggle it was. How can someone in this situation like me destroy their family, business, themselves, children, and fall into bloodshed for another tribe that is neither Kolndreaj nor my uncles, brothers, or cousins," he said.
