The first hearing on the merits of the Metamorphosis case is being held at the GJKKO.

Arben Nela, the lawyer of former prosecutor Xhevahir Lita, requests that the case against him be separated from the rest of the defendants in the "Metamorphosis" case.

"We request the separation of the case for the defendant Xhevahir Lita. Because the investigation against him has been complete. Lita has filed a request for a summary trial," he said.

Gentian Rumano: As a representative of Ardit Hasanbegaj, I request a summary trial. The defendant requested it in the preliminary hearing, and he noted it in every statement. We think that the case can be resolved in the courtroom where the documents are, we have no other evidence to present. If this request is accepted, we also request the separation of the case.

Astmer Bilal's lawyer also requests a summary trial.

Oltion Bistri, through his lawyer, also requested a summary trial. "There is no request for new evidence, there is no request for invalidation of evidence. We are requesting that the case be divided against him," said Elton Domi, Oltion Bistri's lawyer.

Elton Hyseni, Behar Bajrović's lawyer: "I request a summary trial. We leave the division of the case to the court's discretion."

Pëllumb Gjoka and Edmond Preka do not accept the summary trial, they are requesting a regular trial.

Gurali Braimllari, lawyer for Pëllumb Gjoka: "In the conditions when the invalidity and unusability of the acts were not accepted. Gjoka is accused of collaborating with others as a structured criminal group. The court should have been acquainted with our position, then expressed or not about the form of the trial.
