The release of Trifon Murataj's nephew was made some time ago, with the claim that no evidence was found against him during 1 year of investigations implicating him in drug trafficking from Ecuador to Albania.

According to the court, Marson Murataj, from the beginning when he became aware of the case, took a cooperative stance with the police authorities and as a result, the court and the prosecution itself took a stance on softening the security measure from "arrest in prison" to "obligation to appear". .

The replacement of the security measure has led to the release of Murataj from the cell.

Ora News learns that one of the arrested drivers of the "Bana King" company has also been released from prison. Gëzim Kalaja, has benefited from the freedom with the same claim, with which Marson Murataj was also released.

Now the only one who continues to stay in prison is the other driver of this company, Hasan Salihu. The charge of "Trafficking in narcotics" has been brought against the latter and it is expected that he will be charged.

As for Marson Murataj and Gëzim Kalan, the prosecutor's office of Tirana will proceed with the dismissal of the charges. The case of trafficking of 119 kg of cocaine was reported after 24 hours by Trifon Murataj himself.

The preliminary investigations were carried out by the prosecutor's office of Tirana, where the case was then passed on to the SPAK special prosecutor's office for further investigations.

But the latter decided to return the investigative material to the Tirana prosecutor's office, refusing to investigate it for a structured criminal group.

But while the Tirana prosecutor's office was investigating the first case of cocaine seizure, in November 2022, a second case of drug trafficking was registered in Durrës, inside the containers of the "Bana King" company.

The amount of 33 kg of cocaine was seized inside the banana boxes. For this case, the Durrës prosecutor's office ordered the arrest of Petrit Demishaj, Alban Naziraj and declared the businessman Trifon Murataj wanted.

Despite the two episodes of drug trafficking and the arrest of two people, the prosecutor's office of Tirana and that of Durrës have not taken any seizure measures against the "Bana King" company.

Unlike the two companies "Alba Exotic Fruits" and "Masabi Fruits", the banana company that is managed by the wanted person Trifon Murataj, continues to exercise commercial activity without having any problems with justice./OraNews
