The US Embassy in Tirana has shared on social media a message from Secretary of State Marc Rubio .
The top American diplomat says the US will revoke the visa of any visitor who poses a threat to US national security or foreign policy.
"Secretary Rubio: If I identify a visitor to our country whose presence poses a threat to our foreign policy and national security, we will revoke their visa," Rubio's message reads.
We recall that Rubio noted in the conference with Orban that if someone enters the US as a visitor, whether a student, tourist, journalist or anyone else, and participates in activities that go against America's national interest and national security, their visa will be revoked.
In some cases, visa revocation may even precede the execution of the action by an international visitor.
"In fact, if we had known you would do it, we probably wouldn't have given you the visa," Rubio said during the press conference, among other things.
