DETAILS/ Two accidents within a few minutes in Elbasan, 1 victim and 2 injured

Two road accidents were recorded within a few minutes on two different segments of national roads in the Elbasan Region, bringing serious consequences for the lives and health of citizens.

One person has died and two others have been injured as a result of a vehicle collision.

The most serious incident occurred on the national axis Elbasan-Librazhd , specifically on the Xibrakë-Labinot Fushë road segment, where two vehicles collided with each other at considerable speed.

The collision was severe and resulted in two people being seriously injured and rushed to the hospital.

Unfortunately, one of them did not survive his injuries and died in hospital.

Meanwhile, another accident was recorded at Murrashi Turns, where a vehicle went off the road, but fortunately without serious consequences for the driver.

However, the incident has raised concerns about road safety in the area.

The full circumstances and exact causes of these events are not yet clear, while investigative teams are at the scene to carry out the relevant verifications.

It is previously suspected that high speed and difficult weather conditions, with heavy rainfall in various areas of the region, have contributed to the deterioration of traffic conditions and consequently the increase in the risk of accidents.

Traffic on Elbasan's road axes continues to be difficult and maximum caution is required from drivers, especially in segments with curves and limited visibility.

Road authorities have called for respect for traffic rules and speed reduction, especially in bad weather conditions.
