An elderly woman in Pogradec is suspected of attempting to end her life by jumping from the sixth floor of a building near the city's mosque.

According to information from the scene, this is not the first time such an episode has occurred. It was the neighbors who noticed the situation and immediately notified the fire department and the police.

Thanks to the rapid intervention of emergency forces, it was possible to stop the elderly woman, who is currently receiving medical care in her apartment.

Neighbors, who have spoken off-camera, say that the woman spends most of her time locked in the apartment and lives with her daughter.
