A 14-year-old boy is suspected of being physically and psychologically abused by officers at Police Station No. 1 in Tirana after being escorted for throwing capsules. The case has been reported by the Helsinki Committee, which is calling for an investigation into the incident, which occurred on April 12.

It was the minor's parents who reported the incident to the Helsinki Committee, which reported that after verifying the case, it turned out that the minor had a hematoma on the side of his right eye and that he had not been seen by a doctor. Meanwhile, in the evening of the same day, the minor, at the request of his parents, was taken to the Trauma Hospital, and medical expertise revealed that the 14-year-old had been punched.

It is reported that the minor's parents filed a report with the Police Supervision Agency and the Tirana Prosecutor's Office on April 13. The Helsinki Committee calls on the responsible institutions to investigate this case with priority and seriousness, with the aim of fully clarifying the incident and preventing similar situations in the future.
