Former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku files a criminal complaint with the Special Court.

Referring to official sources, journalist Anila Hoxha reports that today at 3:00 p.m., preliminary investigation judge Erjon Cela will review the request of Balluk's lawyers, who are requesting the termination of the suspension from duty, as according to them, this measure has no purpose.

The lawyers' request comes at a time when a few days ago the Special Appeals judge upheld Balluk's suspension, immediately after the Constitutional Court announced the decision.

But this measure, although left in force, has no purpose, according to lawyers, since Balluku is no longer deputy prime minister or minister.

Meanwhile, for Balluk's other request, which was addressed to the Supreme Court with recourse to repeal the travel ban, the court has appointed senior judge Ilir Panda as rapporteur.
