The police of Tirana informs that they have arrested the driver of the vehicle, who hit a pedestrian to death yesterday afternoon on the Great Ring Road, in the area of ​​Astir, on "Teodor Keko" street.

The citizen with the initials PM (M), 30 years old, resident of Durrës, was put in handcuffs. The blues of the capital state that the victim is still unidentified.

From the published images, filmed by security cameras, it was seen that the pedestrian was crossing the road in a section without white lines and divided by traffic dividers. However, the driver must be held responsible for the high speed at which he was driving the vehicle.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
