Accident in Durrës/ Driver hits mother with minor child and flees

A road accident is reported to have occurred in the city of Durrës, on "Bajram Curri" street.

A citizen with the initials TA, driving his vehicle, hit a mother and her minor child while they were crossing the road.

After the collision, the driver fled the scene, while the mother and child were taken to the hospital for medical attention.

"The Police Services referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen TA, a resident of Durrës, after the vehicle he was driving, on "Bajram Curri" street, allegedly caused an accident and left the scene of the accident with citizen AM and her minor child. Both, after treatment at the hospital, left for their apartment," the Police statement said.
