Fatal accident in Tirana, car hits pedestrian

An accident resulting in the death of one person was recorded in the early hours of the morning on "29 November" Street in the capital.

According to preliminary data provided by the state police, the vehicle driven by 35-year-old JM hit an elderly person who was crossing the road, whose identity is still unknown.

The elderly man was crossing the traffic divider at the time of the accident and due to his injuries, he was unable to survive.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further action.
