Nearly 40,000 Albanians were declared non grata by the European Union last year.
EUROSTAT data show that around 16,000 Albanians were refused entry to one of the countries of the union, while 24,000 others were ordered to leave a member country.
The biggest refusal to enter the European Union for Albanians occurs at the Croatian land border, the Hungarian border, the Greek border, and by sea from Italy.
At the head of the citizens who were refused entry to the EU are the Hungarians with 28 thousand, while the Albanians follow directly in second place with 16 thousand.
In the other group, 24 thousand Albanians were caught staying illegally in an EU member state and were ordered to leave.
Most of them are in France, then in Germany. From this group, almost 10 thousand Albanians did not return to their homeland, but moved to another country in the European Union./ TopNews
