3.1 million euros of assets, including 10 apartments, 22 shops, and a luxury villa in Oltion Bistri, must remain seized.

This was the decision of the Special Appeal against the former operational director arrested in the context of the 'Metamorfoza' file. A plot of land with an area of 200 m2 on the road of "Kosovarë" in Tirana, a garage with an area of 87.8 m2 in Selitë and a "Range Rover Sport", manufactured in 2012, were also seized.

A few weeks ago, at the request of SPAK, the Special Court of First Instance ordered the seizure of 36 assets. SPAK announced that there are indications and suspicions that the assets were stolen from Bistri's criminal activity.

Within the 'Metamorfoza' file, the analysis of the Encro Chat and SKY ECC applications revealed the network of members of the criminal group, which included businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, former prosecutor Xhevahir Lita and former Chief of Operations Oltion Bistri. The latter is accused of 'passive corruption', 'Disclosure of acts or secret data' and 'Cleaning of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity' and has been behind bars for about a year.

The communications in the decoded applications showed that Bistri served as the informant of what was happening in the State Police building, sending it to Pëllumb Gjoka. Businessman Gjoka had a casino, which was not allowed by law and for which, according to interceptions in the SPAK Bistri file, he provided information in cases of police operations, so that Gjoka's casino would not be attacked.
