The European makes the AFL rich

Last in group B with only 1 point, Albania bid farewell to the European football tournament in Germany on Monday.

The Reds only managed a 2-2 draw with Croatia in the "Hell" group, but in the European tournament it is not only about points, but also about money.

The financial rewards from UEFA are large and the AFL has managed to benefit 9 million and 250 thousand euros from participating in the final stage of Euro 2024.

So the victory of the group matches in this European Championship is worth 1 million euros, while the draw is worth half a million euros. Since the Reds and Blacks drew only once and recorded two losses, the AFL collected an additional 500,000 euros from UEFA.

In total, the Albanian Football Federation has filled its coffers with 9 million and 750 thousand euros.

Meanwhile, for the teams that are still in the competition, the transition to the round of 16 adds 1.5 million euros to the coffers of the respective federations.

The passage to the quarter-final stage would translate into the receipt of 2.5 million euros, while the semi-final brings an additional 4 million euros.

As for the final, the loser will collect 5 million euros, while the new European champion will earn 8 million euros, but due to the journey until the lifting of the trophy for the winning federation, the receipts can go up to 28.25 million euros in total. .
