There were few doubts about his future, but it is now official: Kylian Mbappe will leave PSG at the end of this season, a decision made public by the French star himself through a video message:
"I always said I would talk to you when the time came. The time has come to tell you that this is my last year with PSG. I will not be renewing my contract, my adventure here will end in a few weeks. This Sunday I will play my last game at the 'Princes Park'. It's difficult, I didn't imagine it would be so difficult to leave my country, from Ligue 1, but after 7 years here I need a new challenge. I have always tried to give my best, I am grateful to you for all my life for the emotions I have experienced. Now we have to lift the last trophy", said Mbappe, among other things, in his video message.
Mbappe landed in Paris in 2017, a transfer that cost Sheikh Al Khelaifi €180 million. In 7 seasons at PSG, Mbappe scored 255 goals in 306 games, won 6 league titles, 2 league cups, 3 French Cups and 4 Super Cups. At the end of this season, Mbappe will be transferred to Real Madrid.
