A day after the publication of the video-scandal where Safet Gjici appeared having sex in the office, the former mayor has 'disappeared' from social networks. He has deleted his Facebook account.

But while the issue is already in the hands of SPAK, Prime Minister Edi Rama (who always has something to say) and none of the ranks of the socialists have reacted. 

After the publication of the scandal, Gjici announced his resignation and spoke of being trapped by his opponents.

He blamed the girl in the video, whom he said he had a long-time crush on.

On the other hand, the Minister of Finance, Delina Ibrahimaj, when asked by the media, said that the Council of Ministers has made the decision to dismiss the mayor of Kukes.
