Local 2023/ The first results come out, SP takes Kamza, Vora, Elbasan, Pustec

In five municipalities of the country, Kamëz, Vorë, Elbasan, Pustec and Delvinë, the counting process has been completed, while it continues in 56 other municipalities.

Socialists won convincingly in Kamëz, where Rakip Suli was re-elected as mayor with 60% of the votes. Even Vora turned pink where Blerim Shera was elected mayor with 73% of the votes. Elbasan was elected as the head of the municipality with a result of 56% of the votes.

The fourth municipality that completed the process was Pusteci, where socialist Pal Kolefski was trusted with 63%. A few moments ago, voting also closed in Delvina, where the socialists won again, led by Besmir Veliu, with 62% of the votes.

Meanwhile, the process continues in the country's largest municipality, Tirana. So far, about 16% of ballot boxes have been counted. According to the latest reporting of figures by the Central Election Commission, Erion Veliaj, who is running for a third term, received 23,713 votes (54.92%), followed by the candidate Këlliçi, who has 14,965 votes.

After them comes the Democratic Party candidate Roland Bejko with 1933 votes and Arlind Qorri with 2168 votes.

In Cërrik, the SP candidate Andis Salla leads convincingly with 68% of the votes (3312), while 44% of the boxes have been counted. The candidate of We Win Together, Servet Duzha, follows with 31%, i.e. 1504 votes.

In Librazhd, the Socialist Party candidate Mariglen Disha leads with 76% of the votes (5081), while 49% of the boxes have been counted so far. Candidate Shefki Çota of "Bashke Fitomje" follows with 23%, 1594 votes.

In Peqin, there are more than half of the ballot boxes. Also in this municipality, the socialist candidate Bukurosh Maçi leads with 57% of the votes (4069) in front of the representative Mustafa Pashja. The latter has so far received 42%, (2951 votes).

In Përrenjas Municipality, where 23% of the boxes were counted, the Socialist Party candidate Nuri Belba leads with 56% of the votes (1485), while Suzana Topi of 'Bashke Fitomje' has 43%, (1154).

Even in Belgium, the socialists with the candidate Arif Tafani are in the lead with 51% of the votes (1972) against 48% of the votes (1883) of the candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition, Bedri Qypi. Numbered boxes 44%.

In the Gramsh Municipality, 33% of the boxes have been counted and Besion Ajazi of the SP has received the trust of 53%, 2357 votes against Hasdim Cekrezi of 'Bashke Fitomje', who has received 2129 votes so far.

In Rrogozhin Municipality, the results of 27 out of 55 polling stations have been counted so far, where Shkëqlim Hoxha, the candidate of Together We Win, leads with 53.% (2309 of the votes, while the socialist candidate Edison Memolla has received 2042 votes.

Meanwhile, in the Municipality of Durrës, the counting proceeded slowly, 41 polling stations out of 342 in total. Socialist candidate Emirjana Sako leads with 56% (5820) of the votes against 46% (4478) of Igli Cara, candidate of Together We Win.

Shijaku has counted only 18 VCs out of 54. Currently, the socialist candidate Elton Arbana leads with 76% (3362) of the votes. The candidate of We Win Together, Rezart Tusha has received 1045 votes so far.

In the Municipality of Kruja, 16 centers were counted out of 92 in total. Artur Bushi from SP leads with 63% (3143) followed by the candidate of Together We Win Agron Loka with 36% (1823).

In the Municipality of Devolli, 22 out of 49 in total were counted, where SP candidate Eduard Duro leads with 53.% of the votes (3390), while Elvis Hajdërlli of Bashke Fitom with 46% of the votes (3487).

Colonia, which is nearing completion, has so far counted 23 polling stations out of 28. Socialist Party candidate Erion Isaj leads convincingly with 64% of the votes (3294 votes), while Ethem Lumani has 36% (1865).

Pogradec has been slow with the count so far it's 27/106. There too, the social candidate Ilir Xhagolli leads with 64% of the votes, while Zini Tollozhina has 33%.

In the Municipality of Korça, 47 polling stations out of 158 have been counted. The candidate of the Socialist Party, Sotiraq Filo, has 63% of the votes, while the candidate of Together We Win, Ledina Alolli, has 37%.

The municipality of Maliqi with 15 centers out of 76, where the socialist candidate Gezim Topçiu leads with 64% against the candidate of Together We Win Alfred Gega with 36% of the votes.

In the Municipality of Lezha, 37 out of 126 polling stations in total have been counted and the candidate of the Socialist Party Pjerin Ndreu leads by a very narrow margin with 51% of the votes (4702), while the candidate of 'Bashkë Fitomje' Pashk Gjoni has 49% of the votes.

Mirdi Municipality is open 21/48. The candidate of "Bashke Fitomje" Albert Mëlyshi leads with 55% of the votes. The SP candidate, Ndrec Dedaj, has received 44% so far.

In Kurbi, 13 out of 74 boxes were counted, where the socialist candidate, the current mayor, Maljinda Cara leads with 55% of the votes, while from Behar Haxhiu i Bashke Win with 44%.

In the Municipality of Fier, 30 out of 224 were counted. SP led by Aemando Subashi gets 71% of the votes, while Evdar Kodheli's "We win together" gets 16% of the votes. PD with Eriselda Celaj has received 13%.

Out of 156 boxes, 73 centers have been counted in Lushnjë Municipality. The candidate of the SP, Eriselda Sefa, takes the lead with 61% of the votes. The candidate of We Win Together, Eduart Sharka, has 39%.

In Roskovec, the race seems close. 20 out of 39 polling stations have been counted. Socialist Party candidate Majlinda Bufi easily leads with 52% against 48% of Together We Win, Erdit Hazizaj.

In Mallakas, the count is 10/50 in total. SP candidate Qerim Ismailaj leads with 49% of the votes against 43% of Agron Kapllanaj of the Democratic Party. The candidate of the BF coalition, Resmi Shanaj, gets 6.52%.

The Municipality of Divjak went slowly with the counting, 5 out of 67 in total. Josif Gorra of SP received 60% of the votes and Aurela Malko of "Bashke Fitomje" with 40% of the votes.

In Patos Municipality, 20 out of 48 polling stations have been counted. The candidate Fation Duro of the SP leads convincingly with 69%, followed by the candidate Sofije Alushaj of 'Bashke Fitomje', with 24%. PD candidate Pranvera Rizaj 6%.
