Prime Minister Edi Rama held a closing meeting with the electorate in Lushnje.
Rama has emphasized that the Socialist Party's most beautiful victory will come on May 11th.
"Together with those who will not be able to be at the ballot boxes, but are meanwhile sending their votes from outside Albania's borders, you will make it possible for the most beautiful victory of the SP to emerge from the May 11th count," Rama said.
Meanwhile, Rama further stated that the fourth mandate is an important moment for the transformation of Lushnja and Divjaka. The Prime Minister mentioned the creation of a true base for the country's food industry.
"Be assured that I know that we still have great things to do together. I want to believe that this fourth mandate will be an important moment for the transformation of Lushnja and Divjaka in a special aspect. In terms of creating a true base for the country's food industry, a true infrastructure network where all that has been built to date will be connected together and will be added like a very beautiful necklace around the entire territory of these two municipalities," said Rama.
Among other things, Rama stated that Albanians are at the foundation of Europe, even though history has never been 'generous' with us.
"Albania can no longer continue to live as a foreign people on the border with Europe, but it is time to become an equal European people not only by custom, because by custom it has always met us, but also by law. By law it means with a new European identity, with the EU passport that confirms what is in fact our old identity, 'Albanians are at the foundation of Europe'. Albanians have been there all along and what has happened to them over so many centuries has been the weight of a history that has never been generous to them ," said Rama.
During his speech, Rama called on citizens to vote for Albania 2030 in the European Union.
"You know what you have to do on May 11th. But what you have to do until that moment is to take others with you, by calling those in emigration who have received the envelopes and have not yet returned them, to talk to your fellow villagers who are on the other side and tell them that on May 11th there are not two sides, but only one direction and it is the direction of Albania 2030 in the European Union", said Rama.
Today, he continued, "we are more determined than ever to carry out our mission to the end, three mandates have not tired us, they have not taken away our desire to do more for the country, but have convinced us more and more every day, that not only is this country we are building a country that can flourish in the middle of Europe, but we will make it flourish by giving it what it has lacked in the lifetime of lifetimes, the equal dignity of a European country among European countries, by giving the flag of Skanderbeg the place it has lacked in the courtyard of Europe."
