Albania has expressed its support for the actions of the United States against the Nicolas Maduro regime in Venezuela.

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, reacted through a post on the social network X, where she emphasized that Tirana stands alongside Washington in confronting what she described as a "narco-terrorist regime."

"Albania stands unequivocally alongside the United States and the US President in their decisive actions against the narco-terrorist regime of Venezuela."

We support Secretary of State Rubio's strong leadership in confronting authoritarianism, corruption, and transnational criminal networks.

"The Venezuelan people have an undeniable right to freedom, democracy and the rule of law, and the international community must not remain silent in the face of oppression and fear ," Spiropali writes.

She added that as a staunch ally of the US and a member of NATO, Albania stands shoulder to shoulder with American leadership in defense of democratic principles and global security.
