Prime Minister Edi Rama , accompanied by the Minister of Education, Ogerta Manastirliu, and the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, participated in the inauguration of dormitory buildings 16 and 17 in the Student City.

Rama stated that the reconstructed dormitories "in every EU country will remain with dignity in category A, not B."

The head of government added that " everywhere there are A, B and C, there are A dormitories even in Paris and London, which are 4 people in a room, but there are also dormitories that are 2 people in a room. These dormitories have 2 people in a room."

The Prime Minister emphasized that the ambition is to do things that will last for a long time.

Edi Rama: Things are not achieved in the blink of an eye. The plan to transform the Student City into a student city of the new century continues. It is a city that is a legacy of the past and must serve the future, it must offer students optimal conditions, the same as the best conditions they have in EU countries.

This dormitory here, which we just saw, is a dormitory that in any EU country would stand with dignity in category A, not B.
