The Socialist Party has announced that the opening of the electoral campaign for the May 11 elections will take place on Saturday, April 12, in Tirana.

The campaign will be launched at noon on the 12th, which is linked to the symbolism of the 12 stars on the EU flag.

The details and format of the campaign launch have not yet been determined, elements that are still under discussion between Prime Minister Edi Rama and political leaders.

Although April 11th is officially the official date, all political forces have been holding electoral meetings and presenting their teams of candidates for MPs for nearly a month.
