The OSCE-ODIHR mission has decided to send an "army" of observers to Albania for the May 14 local elections.

The OSCE aims to have 24 long-term and 300 short-term observers to cover the entire election period and raise concerns about the possibility of vote buying and "organized" voting, especially among vulnerable social communities.

In the preliminary report, this mission emphasizes that the misuse of administrative resources by the ruling party, including pressure on public employees, is problematic.

The OSCE has a special emphasis on the situation in DP, as according to them the court should have made a decision on the legitimacy of the leadership of this political force.
