President Bajram Begaj expressed his solidarity to President Natasa Pirc Musar and the Slovenian people affected by the catastrophic floods.

"I express my solidarity to President Musar and the people of Slovenia affected by the catastrophic floods. Our prayers are with them during this difficult time. We hope for a quick recovery!" begaj wrote in a post on Twitter.

Slovenia has been affected by severe flooding, which has caused at least three fatalities. Thousands more people have been evacuated from risk zones, while economic damage is incalculable.

Authorities have warned of intensification of rainfall and flooding over the past 24 hours as a major storm is expected to pass over the country.
