Prime Minister Edi Rama softened his stance towards the TikTok platform, after a meeting with a company official.
This is what foreign media reports, according to which Rama may consider his stance by not closing this social network.
The French news agency, AFP, writes that sources from TikTok say the meeting was constructive.
But the agency emphasizes that Rama's turnaround comes precisely after the decision of the new American president, Donald Trump, to allow the company to operate in the US.
" Rama's apparent reversal came two days after US President Donald Trump signed a decree suspending for 75 days the ban on TikTok, whose owners have been ordered by the US Congress to sell the platform or it will be permanently banned in this country ," AFP writes.
